We loved La Bonnetie. It far surpassed the photos. I do not think there is a way to capture how wonderful a location and view you have from La Bonnetie in a photo. We had a wonderful time. The surrounding area is amazing. You might add on your welcome sheet that Isseagac (not sure of the spelling) has a market on Sundays. It is similar to the one in St Foy, but if you arrive on Saturday, it is easier to go to market on Sunday.

I must tell you we had a great week at La Bonnetie, the weather was perfect, the layout of the rooms suited our assorted family requirements, it is a very beautiful area to take a holiday. The childrens room/bathroom is great fun and you have some great ideas on how to furnish rooms. We enjoyed everything !
I'm writing to you to tell you how much we all enjoyed staying at la Bonnetie (We forgot to fill in the book). Apart from the area and the views which were spectacular. The farm was comfortable, well appointed and spacious. In the end we were only four people - the other four were unable to come. We regularly stay in Gites all over France and yours was definitely one of the best. When we come back to the area we shall book la Bonnetie for two weeks instead of one.
Dr D Thurgate,
We are back from France now and wanted to write and say thank you for a lovely week at your house - it was a lovely place and the children loved the pool and we had a great time. You have obviously done a lot of work on the house and it is really smart and comfortable. You have the most comfortable beds we have ever had in a holiday house!!!! Many thanks again - we will recommend your place to our friends and hope to return one day. Best regards

Your home is truly beautiful and we enjoyed every moment of our stay and thank you very much. We had been to the area before and this time we spent some time looking for a house. Your house is so lovely that every house we viewed we compared it to yours! However we have seen some beautiful houses. The views are amazing and how clever you are to make such a beautiful home. With Kind Regards
Just a note to say a big thank you for providing La Bonnetie for two lovely weeks in May. My family and I have had a wonderful break and everything went smoothly. With two parents with walking difficulties and my uncle who is a spritely 90 I was a little concerned about even getting them there in good shape. But a lot of organisation and taxis made it possible. When we arrived, it was such a beautiful and warm day that we just sat outside and enjoyed the glorious view. I knew my parents in particular would enjoy the location and indeed it was very relaxing for them.
My nephew Morgan loved having the space to run around on the lawn playing ball, and he adored Peyo and Charlie and Tara almost as much as Robert does. Quite a new experience for a two year old. We did quite a bit of touring around and went to all the usual destinations like Sarlat, St Emilion, Monpazier, Issigeac, etc, and we all loved the marvellous market at St Foy. Of course having been there before, Robert and I felt really quite at home and I'm thinking about the possibility of booking La Bonnetie for the same time next year. It would be a very nice thing indeed to have that experience to look forward to.
With lots of love,

This has been our fifth holiday as an extended family and this has been the best accomodation/farmhouse/villa. We loved the bedroom, the kitchen, pool and lovely terrace with the great views. It was really nice to be able to use the herb garden and sightings of our resident buzzard, also blackred stort, swallow, jays and woodpeckers. Thanks for a great place to stay.
Fabulous accomodation, ideal for children. We loved the pool and the kids have improved their swimming skills no end!! Wonderful walks. Overall a fabulous holiday. Thanks for making it so special
